It is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (Act No.XXXVIII of 1949) for the regulation of the profession of Chartered Accountants in India. Darbhanga Branch of CIRC of ICAI Empowering Accountants Since 2024 with a Dynamic Range of Academic Programs, Workshops, and Collaborative Engagements with Local Bodies and Associations." Darbhanga Branch of CIRC of ICAI was inaugurated by then Hon'ble president Shri. CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal on 16th August 2024. The Branch is situated in the "Darbhanga City" of the state of Bihar. This Branch covers Darbhanga, Madhubani and Samastipur and is having a total of 200+ members associated with it. Darbhanga Branch is Regularly Holding Academic and other programs which Various Seminars, Workshops and Meetings, Student's Programmes & Activities are also given equals importance and very soon all facilities like Computer Training, Industrial Visits, study tours, coaching classes, etc. 1949 (Act No.XXXVIII of 1949)

It is indeed a great honour and responsibility to chair the Darbhanga Branch of CIRC of ICAI. I am grateful to Darbhanga Branch Team for showing their trust and faith by electing me as the Chairman of Darbhanga Branch of CIRC of ICAI. I, along with my team committed to put the best efforts for the benefit of our members & students of our branch in turn to elevate this Branch to greater heights.
Darbhanga Branch is committed for acceleration of various programmes both for members, students and public at large and thereby the giving our nation the best and skilled professionals. Professional education opens up an altogether different world and new innovative ideas bring enormous transformative power for any given crisis.
Everyone deserves the best start in life, and that won’t be possible without quality, values and innovative thinking. If we need our future to be just and sustainable, we have to think collectively.
Beginning my term on the strong pillars of ‘Professionalism, Excellence and Innovation’, with ethics and values being an integral part of the system. We believe that these values – ethics & integrity are the foundations of our profession and for members to follow in all walks of life.
